TL;DR
Senior Snowflake Developer (AWS): Building and maintaining a Snowflake data environment and AWS-based data lake for Amazon Collaborative Commerce data with an accent on Snowflake LSA data modeling, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and source integration. Focus on optimizing warehouse performance, implementing data quality and governance frameworks, securing datasets with row-level access controls, and migrating data from Azure SQL Server.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data models and warehouse solutions using the Snowflake LSA.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines from AWS S3, REST APIs, and other data sources into Snowflake.
  • Manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
  • Implement data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata management across multiple environments.
  • Optimize query performance through tuning, clustering, and warehouse sizing.
  • Implement data sharing, masking policies, RBAC, row-level security, and migration from Azure SQL Server to Snowflake.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and Snowflake LSA data modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL, dbt, and ETL processes.
  • Professional experience in data engineering and analytics engineering.
  • Experience with large enterprise datasets and analytics-driven applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Availability to start immediately or within 30 days.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS services, Python, and CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
