Lead Software Developer (Golang)

Location: Poland; remote role

Salary: PLN 265,000–275,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of 2–3 engineers through design reviews, pairing, and feedback.
• Design and develop backend services using Golang.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance applications.
• Handle large datasets and data-intensive CRM workflows serving approximately 130 million active members.
• Set backend technical direction for CRM Ops and XLerate while unblocking the team and raising engineering quality.
• Collaborate with Product, designers, developers, testers, and partner squads to build CRM workflows, automations, communications, and segmentation capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a general-purpose programming language, including 2+ years with Golang.
• Experience owning complex backend features or services and leading a small engineering team.
• Practical understanding of Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery environments.
• Knowledge of modern quality and testing principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to learn new technologies and systems.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with MySQL performance tuning at scale.
• Experience with event-driven architectures or high-throughput APIs.
• CRM, marketing automation, or segmentation domain experience.
• Experience partnering across engineering squads.
