What you will do

  • Support sales objectives, market share goals, customer retention, and product conversions within the assigned territory.
  • Guide surgeons in the operating room and demonstrate the correct use of trauma products and surgical instruments.
  • Attend surgeries, ensure equipment availability and performance, optimize trays, and consult with operating room and sterile processing teams.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, respond to customer requests, manage hospital billing, and create or close purchase orders.
  • Maintain and track equipment and assets, prepare sales reports, and share customer, procedural, and market insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.
  • Build surgeon and account relationships while communicating product value and supporting customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree or medical certification with at least two years of relevant experience, or at least four years of relevant experience; recently transitioned active-duty military candidates may also qualify.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating room environment.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Lake Charles territory.
  • Ability to travel, including possible weekend and overnight travel.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.

Nice to have

  • Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience with account management, healthcare trends, market knowledge, relationship building, solutions selling, and sales presentations.
