Safety and Ecology Officer (EHS)

What you will do

• Lead effective and sustainable environmental, health, and safety systems, programs, and processes.
• Inspect workplaces, equipment, materials, and production changes to identify hazards and ensure EHS compliance.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes, report findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Manage risk assessments, job safety analyses, ergonomic reviews, industrial hygiene evaluations, inspections, audits, and environmental reporting.
• Direct emergency response, spill response, and disaster preparedness plans, including drills, equipment readiness, and response-team training.
• Collaborate with functional groups and management to define EHS objectives, evaluate new materials and equipment, and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Experience managing workplace safety, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and EHS programs.
• Ability to conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, ergonomic evaluations, exposure monitoring, and incident analyses.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations and organizational EHS standards.
• Ability to develop practical solutions to EHS issues using independent judgment.
• Ability to lead EHS teams, provide feedback, assess talent, and coordinate work with facility and business functions.
• Ability to work onsite in Serpukhov, Russia.
