Focus on hiring and mentoring technical teams, guiding complex architectures and product demonstrations, engaging executive customers, and driving go-to-market execution toward aggressive sales targets.

What you will do
- Lead, hire, onboard, coach, and develop a team of Solutions Architects supporting the Startups segment.
- Partner with Sales and other Field Engineering teams to increase revenue and help customers achieve successful outcomes.
- Guide technical qualification, validation, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
- Engage strategically with executive customers to shape data infrastructure decisions and go-to-market strategy.
- Maintain the team’s advanced knowledge of the Databricks technology stack and ensure continuous learning.
- Build relationships with systems integrators, independent software vendors, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and leading technical pre-sales teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and mentoring.
- 10+ years of experience in the data space with a technical product, such as data warehousing, big data, machine learning, or generative AI.
- Experience advising technical executives on strategic data infrastructure decisions.
- Ability to influence and review complex architectures and guide customers toward scalable solutions.
- Technical credibility with Engineering talent and leadership.
- Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.
