Frontend Outsystems Manager (Outsystems)

Location: San Diego, CA, United States

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Define and build functional and non-functional requirements with IT leadership.
• Lead one or more local or near-shore development teams and coach team members.
• Design and prototype enterprise solutions focused on security, performance, continuous integration, and code quality.
• Build interactive web applications with Outsystems, develop REST and SOAP web services, and integrate vendor APIs.
• Collaborate with technical leads, development managers, development teams, and stakeholders across the organization.
• Refactor the codebase and improve development capabilities through hands-on problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficiency with Outsystems, Java, JavaScript, MVC, Angular or React, and TypeScript.
• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience, including interactive applications, web services, and vendor API integrations.
• At least 1 year of experience managing or leading technical resources.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
