Lead Planner Turnaround

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia; the role involves field surveys, site logistics, turnaround shutdowns, and onsite project execution.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and manage turnarounds for SATORP, SASREF, and the Jubail Industrial Gases Hub, with project values ranging from $5M to $50M.
• Coordinate brownfield plant improvement projects ranging from $25K to $5M, from scope development through commissioning and handover.
• Develop detailed turnaround scopes, job plans, work packages, procedures, resource-loaded schedules, material take-offs, and bills of materials.
• Identify critical paths, optimize execution sequences, and monitor progress, budgets, resources, and schedules using project management tools.
• Coordinate Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Inspection, QA/QC, Supply Chain, contractors, and internal technical resources.
• Lead safety reviews, field execution, contractor accountability, post-turnaround reviews, lessons learned, and close-out documentation.

Requirements

• Engineering or technical degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of experience in industrial gases, oil and gas, petrochemical, project execution, engineering management, or construction management.
• Turnaround and brownfield project management experience with the ability to work independently and coordinate support resources.
• Experience with Primavera P3/P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable project and turnaround management tools.
• Strong industrial field experience, leadership, stakeholder communication, critical thinking, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Commitment to HSE standards, regulatory compliance, quality, safe work practices, and continuous improvement; flexibility to work outside normal hours when required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ERP project development and implementation.
• Experience in a multinational organization, matrix reporting, and strong EHS culture.
• Knowledge of Blue Hydrogen Industrial Gases process technologies.
• Arabic language skills and multilingual capability.
