Project Engineer (Subsea)

Location: Hybrid role based in West Perth, Western Australia, with occasional project site visits and offshore work. Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

• Execute subsea and ROV project workscopes in collaboration with Project Managers, Lead Engineers, Senior Project Engineers, and clients.
• Control work packages through design reviews, constructability assessments, HAZID, and offshore execution.
• Manage subcontractors and equipment manufacturers, including documentation and oversight of SIT and FAT activities.
• Complete engineering analyses and documentation, and manage installation aid design or sea fastening fabrications.
• Ensure equipment and personnel readiness for mobilisation and compliance with project safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in project engineering or mechanical engineering within subsea, marine, oil and gas, or mining environments.
• Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical, mechatronic, structural, or ocean engineering, or naval architecture.
• Strong communication, collaboration, self-motivation, and ownership skills.
• Ability to obtain an offshore survival course qualification and pass the associated medical examination.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and specialist engineering software such as SolidWorks and OrcaFlex.
