What you will do
- Develop, document, and communicate patient, volume, and revenue forecasts for strategic planning, budgeting, medium-term updates, and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Lead forecasting activities for AYVAKIT and future systemic mastocytosis products in partnership with US Commercial leadership.
- Integrate actuals, market research, competitive intelligence, payer access assumptions, GTN, patient flow, segmentation, and price-volume analyses into forecast models.
- Coordinate with Finance, Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Patient Support Services, Demand Planning, Global Forecasting, and other cross-functional partners.
- Support supply-chain planning by delivering SKU-level forecasts and review model inputs with Data Management, Analytics, and external data providers.
- Coach junior team members and provide ad hoc analyses on business initiatives, market events, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, MS, MD, or PhD is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech analytics, forecasting, market research, consulting, or equivalent advanced-degree experience.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA patient-level data, syndicated reports, specialty pharmacy data, and the payer or health insurance environment.
- Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills, project management ability, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with numerous cross-functional partners.
- Experience with Excel-based forecast models; programming with VBA, SQL, R, or Python and experience with Snowflake or Databricks are preferred.

- Experience in rare disease, oncology, or hematology.
- Advanced degree or consulting experience.
- Experience designing market research studies such as demand studies or conjoint exercises.
