Production Pharmacy Assistant (Pharmacy Operations)

Location: On-site in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 21–24 per hour

What you will do

• Package prescription medications according to regulatory requirements.
• Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, and measure medications according to medication orders.
• Review patient notes and preferences in the pharmacy operating system and assemble required patient information materials.
• Receive medication deliveries and maintain inventory using first-in-first-out procedures, expiry checks, and product organization.
• Manage pharmacy supply needs and maintain an organized work area.
• Support other pharmacy operations as directed by pharmacy management.

Requirements

• Approximately two years of related experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency with Kroll software and intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapt to change, multitask, and shift priorities within established timelines.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and stand or walk throughout the shift.
• Successful completion of reference checks, background verification, and any required Enhanced Reliability federal government security clearance is required for employment.

• CRM experience.
• Bilingualism in English and French.
