Commercial Underwriting Analyst I

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, plus eligible annual discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 10% each.

What you will do

• Support commercial lending originators and underwriters with loan screening, underwriting, and monitoring.
• Perform basic credit analysis, including operating statement reviews and risk rating recommendations.
• Analyze commercial lending, accounts receivable, inventory, equipment, and loan and lease receivables collateral.
• Analyze financial data to determine customers' financial status.
• Research data and key metrics to recommend process improvements and actions.
• Support loan origination administration, including document collection, organization, and due diligence tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2–4 years of experience monitoring or underwriting and structuring commercial lending transactions.
• Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screening is required.
• Employment eligibility is verified through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program.
