IT Risk Consulting Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite at client locations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area; US Citizenship Required

Salary: $77,000–$125,000 per year, plus potential bonuses, overtime pay, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead consulting engagements focused on IT governance, technology risk, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform and oversee ITGC, business process application control, internal audit, and OMB A-123 assessments.
• Assess technology risks and develop remediation strategies, POA&Ms, and sustainable control improvements.
• Support ERP implementations, financial system modernization, cloud migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, risk assessments, and client meetings with executives, system owners, and implementation teams.
• Prepare executive presentations and reports, mentor senior staff, and support proposals and GRC methodology improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least four years of experience in IT risk consulting, technology advisory, internal IT audit, IT compliance, or related consulting services.
• Experience with IT governance, risk management, internal controls, enterprise applications, ERP systems, cloud technologies, or financial systems.
• Knowledge of ITGCs, application controls, technology risk management, and control frameworks.
• At least one certification such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, Security+, CPA, or equivalent.
• Ability to work onsite in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance; US citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with OMB A-123, FISMA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, or FedRAMP.
• Experience with Oracle, Oracle Cloud ERP, Oracle Federal Financials, AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience implementing or administering ServiceNow GRC, Diligent HighBond, Archer, or similar GRC platforms.
