What you will do

• Lead capture efforts for large programs of record, primarily in the land tactical defence domain.
• Build relationships with senior defence and agency stakeholders to identify evolving requirements, priorities, and buying criteria.
• Develop customer-focused engagement plans, capture strategies, resource plans, and win themes.
• Assess opportunities through go/no-go decision gates and evaluate bid viability and resource investment.
• Analyse competitors, incumbent contractors, market intelligence, and past performance to identify differentiators.
• Shape teaming partnerships, solution design, pricing-to-win strategies, and the transition into proposal execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar capture or business development role.
• Understanding of defence programs and procurement.
• Experience building teams that deliver and win.
• Recent experience with land tactical programs, including Land 4140.
• Ability to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) or equivalent Top Secret clearance in Australia or New Zealand.
• Australian Citizenship and active Australian Government Secret Clearance (NV1).

Nice to have

• Active DV or equivalent clearance.
• Prior military service in a relevant branch or role.
• Experience with a diverse portfolio of defence customers and programs.
• Demonstrable success running complex defence captures.
