Counterintelligence Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Practitioner (TSCM/Counterintelligence): Conducting technical surveillance countermeasures investigations, RF analysis, intelligence assessments, and TEMPEST mitigation for a government agency with an accent on protecting classified information, facilities, and information systems. Focus on identifying intelligence threats, closing collection gaps, preparing intelligence reports, and applying DoD counterintelligence standards in complex operational environments.
Location: Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Travel of up to 50% of the year is required.

What you will do
- Identify, assess, and report potential counterintelligence and intelligence threats, recommending mitigation measures.
- Analyze threats to personnel, programs, information systems, and facilities, and identify intelligence gaps and collection requirements.
- Conduct TSCM investigations and operations for test events, conferences, facilities, and exercises.
- Support counterintelligence inquiries and prepare and disseminate intelligence information reports.
- Conduct counterintelligence briefings and provide technical recommendations for protecting classified and sensitive information.
- Assist with TEMPEST countermeasures and related accreditation, inspection, and compliance activities.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of TSCM experience within complex, large DoD programs.
- Expert-level oral and written communication skills, analytical expertise, and the ability to work independently and lead sub-teams.
- Hands-on TSCM subject matter expertise, including RF analysis, spectrum analyzers, and associated test equipment.
- Strong familiarity with TEMPEST policies, standards, and mitigation techniques, DoD Instruction 5240.05, and CI Division standard operating procedures.
- Formal training and certification to USD/I-approved standards under DoD Directive 5240.02, including an Interagency Training Center certification.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces, at heights, and in inclement weather.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting or coordinating TEMPEST accreditation, inspections, or compliance efforts.
- Experience providing intelligence analysis for vetting, research, development, and acquisitions.
