TL;DR

What you will do

  • Proofread and edit content translated from Korean into Japanese.
  • Use SSTG1Pro and/or proprietary cloud-based subtitling software.
  • Apply in-house glossary tools and client style guides to maintain consistency.
  • Process rejected work and make corrections to files.
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and confidentiality.
  • Monitor industry trends and adapt to changing client requirements.

Requirements

  • Korean/Japanese bilingual proficiency is required.
  • At least 3 years of translation and/or proofreading experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to deliver work on time under rigorous schedules and maintain flexible working hours.
  • Ability to follow technical and style guides for multiple client content types.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of SSTG1Pro subtitling software, including CANVASs.
  • Good command of English.
  • Knowledge of additional languages.
