Head of AI - Platform AI (Machine Learning): Leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions across the organization with an accent on large-scale models, distributed infrastructure, and responsible AI. Focus on building AI roadmaps, deploying transformer-based and multimodal systems, optimizing GPU/TPU and cloud infrastructure, and leading AI researchers and engineers.
Location: Remote, applicants must currently reside in the continental United States
Salary: $215,000–$245,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Develop and execute an AI roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead research and implementation of large-scale AI models, including LLMs and Vision Transformers.
- Design and deploy AI solutions for predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and real-time decision systems.
- Lead the full AI project lifecycle, from data engineering and model development through testing and production deployment.
- Build and optimize distributed AI training infrastructure using GPUs, TPUs, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Build and lead AI research and engineering teams while ensuring responsible AI development and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in AI research and deployment, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Deep expertise in transformer-based models such as GPT, BERT, and T5, as well as computer vision and multimodal AI.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and JAX.
- Proven experience deploying large-scale AI systems with measurable business impact.
- Current residence in the continental United States is required for this remote role.
