Service Manager (Bicycle Service)

Location: Westlake Village, California, United States; onsite at Trek Store Westlake

Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Lead Service Center operations, including workflow, mechanic staffing, and service KPIs.
• Serve as the primary service advisor and integrate the sales and service experience.
• Communicate with customers, recommend appropriate services, and write more than 50% of the shop’s work orders.
• Train, motivate, and develop service team members and future leaders.
• Manage service costs, organize service orders, and maintain a clean, efficient department.
• Coordinate bike builds and deliveries to the sales floor and customers while reviewing service reports to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of bicycle service center experience.
• Strong communication, hospitality, listening, planning, and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and develop employees and stay ahead of shop needs.
• Positive, hands-on attitude and commitment to providing an excellent customer experience.
• Willingness to attend Trek Service classes in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
• Proactive interest in industry changes and trends.
