TL;DR
ICAM Audit Readiness Consultant (Cybersecurity): Supporting federal clients in modernizing ICAM infrastructure and preparing for SOC 1 and cybersecurity audits with an accent on governance frameworks, Zero Trust principles, RMF requirements, and access-control design. Focus on assessing remediation plans, independently validating audit-finding remediation, and coordinating delayed corrective actions across multiple DoW services.
Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite at the Pentagon or in the greater Washington, DC area; U.S. citizenship required.
Salary: $80,000–$140,000 per year in base pay, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

What you will do
- Advise on and draft ICAM governance framework implementation for SOC 1 readiness.
- Integrate Zero Trust principles and Risk Management Framework requirements into audit-readiness activities.
- Coordinate policy implementation standards across multiple Department of War services, including access control and segregation-of-duties design.
- Support A-123 and SOC 1 readiness assessments and evaluate Plans of Action and Milestones for remediation sufficiency.
- Perform independent verification and validation of audit-finding remediation and document results for management review.
- Monitor delayed remediation activities and follow up with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT audit, security assessment, IT audit readiness, or a related field.
- Knowledge of the NIST 800 series, FISCAM, and ICAM.
- Active Secret clearance or higher is required, along with U.S. citizenship.
- Professional communication skills and clear business writing.
- Ability to work 3 days onsite at the Pentagon or in the greater DC area.
Nice to have
- CISA or CISSP certification.
- SOC 1 examination experience.
- ICAM testing or implementation experience.
