What you will do
- Represent national and international employers in labor and employment matters.
- Conduct arbitrations and labor board, court, and tribunal hearings.
- Perform legal research and draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Handle discovery-related activities and investigations.
- Counsel clients and work with adjudicators, government agencies, and opposing counsel.
Requirements
- Hold a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree.
- Be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario or an equivalent Canadian law society.
- Maintain the requirements for continuing licensure to practice law during employment.
- Have at least four years of experience practicing labor and employment law.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
