Senior Technical Service Trainer (Generators)

Location: Sussex, Wisconsin, USA; onsite at the service training center

What you will do

• Train technicians in the repair, installation, startup, operation, and troubleshooting of hirify.global products.
• Deliver classroom presentations, hands-on laboratory instruction, and live-stream training.
• Lead the development of technical training curricula.
• Write and review owner, installation, diagnostic, flat-rate, service, and training documentation.
• Establish warranty flat rates for new product prototypes and collaborate on training units.
• Mentor, onboard, and train lower-level technical service trainers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of field technician experience in HVAC, automotive, generators, or a similar discipline, or five years of combined field technician and technical training experience.
• Advanced ability to write and present technical information.
• Advanced generator startup and troubleshooting skills, familiarity with hand tools and test equipment, and the ability to develop testing plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work onsite in Sussex, Wisconsin, with occasional travel.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Curriculum development experience.
• Experience evaluating and coaching instructor technique.
• Technician Excellence or ASE certification.
• Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
