Senior Manager, Merchandising Planning

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville Home Office, 600 Integrity Dr, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Develop category-level financial forecasts and actionable insights using data analysis and visualization tools.
• Align financial forecasts, inventory planning, and promotional activities for complex product categories.
• Lead assortment and feature planning and support vendor negotiations with financial inputs and risk assessments.
• Own and update sales and inventory forecasts using customer demand trends and market intelligence.
• Lead strategic initiatives, remove operational barriers, and ensure execution of business plans.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Expertise in merchandise planning and category management for complex product lines.
• Strong financial forecasting skills, including budget development and sales and inventory alignment.
• Advanced data analysis and data visualization capabilities.
• Experience with omni-channel customer-focused strategies based on demand trends and buying behaviors.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field plus 4 years of experience in retail, merchandising, forecasting, or a related area, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence category-level business plans.
