What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for real estate title insurance commitments and policies.
• Underwrite title insurance issuance using established standards, guidelines, and delegated authority limits.
• Guide company personnel in performing real estate settlement services.
• Issue underwriting standards and guidelines according to company processes.
• Collaborate with personnel, agents, and customers and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of title underwriting experience.
• Familiarity with real estate law.
• Understanding of real estate title, settlement processes, federal and state regulations, and underwriting transactions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to act decisively, work with attention to detail, multitask, and develop creative solutions.
