Network Construction Manager

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; approximately 40% travel required across a broad geographic area.

Estimated base salary: $61,100–$94,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Monitor field contractors, resolve gating issues, and coordinate with Project Managers and the OSP Director.
• Coordinate and implement network and customer orders while establishing construction timelines.
• Identify building and site locations for equipment installation and support site walks, designs, and approval processes.
• Manage inside plant construction, supervise construction activities, and validate ongoing expenses.
• Run RFP processes, manage material purchasing, and research ways to reduce project expenses.
• Maintain written procedures and prepare weekly activity reports.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience in construction or telecommunications.
• At least four years of experience with inside plant construction and large capital projects.
• Ability to manage aggressive construction schedules and oversee contractors or inspectors.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Google Earth, and Salesforce.
• Ability to understand and read construction documents.
• Familiarity with DC power systems, grounding systems, and electronic equipment installation; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
