What you will do
- Teach a 3-3 course load during the 2026–27 academic year.
- Teach intermediate microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and intermediate macroeconomics.
- Advise, evaluate, and assist students.
- Participate in weekly faculty meetings.
- Collaborate regularly with and evaluate an assigned peer leader.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or ABD status in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Current expertise and substantial knowledge in the relevant field.
- Professional and effective collaboration with a wide range of individuals.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- This position is not eligible for new sponsorship.

- Experience teaching economics.
- Ability to contribute intellectual uniqueness to the department.
Culture & Benefits
- Non-tenure-track appointment for the 2026–27 academic year, covering fall and spring semesters.
- 0.6 FTE appointment with benefits eligibility.
- Faculty position represented by the Associated Faculty of because the appointment is at least 0.5 FTE; membership dues may apply as a condition of employment.
- Applications are accepted continually and may remain in the hiring pool for up to two years.
