What you will do

• Perform and check structural or mechanical design and analysis for tanks, vessels, modules, foundations, and other industrial structures.
• Prepare conceptual studies, cost and engineering studies, design calculations, specifications, layouts, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, company standards, customer specifications, and safe, practical field-erection requirements.
• Review, approve, sign, and stamp project deliverables as required under the applicable professional engineering license.
• Coordinate with project engineers, CAD designers, project managers, and other stakeholders while identifying discrepancies and potential changes.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute improvements to engineering tools, workflows, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Active PE license required; a Structural SE license is strongly preferred, while Civil and Mechanical PE licenses are accepted.
• 5–10 years of design experience in industrial or heavy-industry structures, preferably in EPC or design-build environments.
• Experience with steel plate tanks, pressure vessels, large foundations, modular systems, and relevant structural or mechanical analysis.
• Knowledge of AISC, ASCE, IBC, ACI, API 650, API 620, and ASME Section VIII codes.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, multitasking, and deadline-management skills.
