Sr Director, Corporate Communications

Location: United States

Salary: $184,300–$264,950 annually, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Advise the Chief Communications Officer and senior executives on corporate reputation, sensitive issues, stakeholder implications, and consequential business decisions.
• Lead crisis and issues communications readiness, including scenarios, playbooks, escalation, and response frameworks.
• Set the corporate responsibility communications strategy and develop transparent narratives connecting commitments, actions, and measurable impact.
• Build and lead a Communications Center of Excellence with enterprise standards for messaging, planning, governance, measurement, tools, and AI-enabled practices.
• Advance reputation intelligence and measurement frameworks, turning stakeholder signals and data into actionable executive insights.
• Build a high-performing Corporate Communications organization by developing leaders, strengthening capabilities, and leading through transformation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, corporate affairs, reputation, crisis and issues management, corporate responsibility, or related disciplines.
• Significant leadership experience managing complex corporate communications programs and advising senior executives on high-stakes matters.
• Deep expertise in corporate reputation, crisis and issues communications, executive counsel, and enterprise communications strategy.
• Experience building or transforming communications capabilities, including governance, standards, talent, tools, and operating practices.
• Strong business judgment, executive presence, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, develop talent, and influence stakeholders across a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

• Experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, technology, or another complex technology-driven business.
• Experience with corporate responsibility strategy, crisis readiness, M&A communications, or enterprise communications Centers of Excellence.
• Experience developing reputation intelligence and communications measurement frameworks.
• Strong understanding of AI and emerging technologies and their implications for reputation and communications.
