Principal, CRE Debt Capital Markets

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid schedule with office work 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

Base salary: USD 120,000–225,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and optimize financing processes for private credit investments, primarily commercial real estate debt.
• Organize financing outreach and due diligence for real estate loans, credit financings, subscription lines, and structured real estate products.
• Negotiate repo, warehouse, subscription, and other credit lines, including bespoke loan-on-loan structures.
• Coordinate financing execution with private credit, investment, Capital Solutions, Legal, Fund Services, Asset Servicing, and Product teams.
• Oversee post-close compliance, covenant tracking, lender notifications, and transaction obligations.
• Manage lender, client, investor, and senior stakeholder relationships while providing financing market and liquidity updates.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in capital markets, structured finance, or treasury operations.
• Experience with warehouse and repo facilities, loan-on-loan financing, senior and mezzanine structures, and sourcing leverage facilities.
• Ability to manage complex financing workflows and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of fund administration, legal compliance, and investor communications.
• Strong negotiation, organization, relationship management, execution, and project management skills.
• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or accounting preferred.
