Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator (Civil Rights Compliance): Supporting civil rights policies, complaints, investigations, compliance reviews, and training across a multi-campus university system with an accent on Anti-DEi Law monitoring, case coordination, and regulatory documentation. Focus on evaluating institutional processes, coordinating responses to external agencies, and maintaining accurate confidential records.

Location: College Station, Texas, United States

Salary: $3,742.67–$5,833.33 per month, commensurate with experience.

What you will do

  • Support the implementation of civil rights compliance policies, procedures, and initiatives across system members.
  • Monitor system-wide compliance with Anti-DEi Law, review related activities, identify risks, and provide mitigation guidance.
  • Review civil rights allegations and coordinate internal and external complaint matters, documentation, communications, and response deadlines.
  • Support compliance certifications, quarterly reports, annual submissions, and periodic reviews at member institutions and agencies.
  • Review investigation reports and decision letters related to civil rights matters.
  • Develop and deliver in-person, virtual, and online civil rights compliance training and provide procedural and case-management consultation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six years of related experience.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in complaint facilitation, employee relations, civil rights compliance, workplace investigations, or related areas.
  • Knowledge of federal and state civil rights laws and employment regulations, or the ability to develop that knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Restricted to U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents; subject to a criminal history investigation.
