CI Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Northwood, OH, United States; onsite at the Northwood Facility

hirify.global operates the Northwood manufacturing facility, where the role supports plant-wide operational improvements.

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste.
• Facilitate Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen events, value stream mapping, standardized work, and visual management.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagrams, and Pareto Analysis.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to implement sustainable improvements.
• Develop KPIs, track project progress, maintain improvement records, and support SOP and process documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement roles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and experience with Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, teamwork, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to influence without authority and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to regularly walk the production floor and work around machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
