Field Manager (Home Improvement)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, United States; field-based role with regular travel to jobsites, including day trips and overnight stays, up to 25–50% of the time.

Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and oversee daily and weekly field and installation operations, including scheduling, workload balancing, job readiness, and project timelines.
• Direct, supervise, train, coach, and evaluate W-2 installers and 1099 subcontractors.
• Conduct jobsite quality inspections, determine corrective actions, and resolve installation defects, warranty issues, and operational risks.
• Manage complex customer and operational escalations through resolution while maintaining service standards.
• Set and monitor productivity, quality, and performance goals, develop improvement plans, and prepare operational reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Inventory, and Operations to ensure material readiness and on-time installations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in field, installation, home improvement, or construction roles.
• Knowledge of residential remodeling installation practices and the ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Leadership, coaching, performance management, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with operational systems, CRM, workflow tools, reporting platforms, and basic data entry.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel to jobsites and work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
