Systems Analyst (Financial Systems)

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC, with onsite work 2–3 days per week. Work location may change based on client requirements. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance are required.

Salary: $77,000–$125,000 annually, plus potential bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead functional support for Momentum, G-Invoicing, and IPP across budget execution, purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger modules.
• Act as the liaison between business owners, technical teams, and leadership for financial system initiatives.
• Gather requirements, prepare BRD and FRD documentation, and map end-to-end processes for enhancements and new functionality.
• Plan and manage UAT, including test scripts, tester coordination, defect reviews, release validation, and post-deployment checks.
• Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot Momentum–G-Invoicing integrations and IPP workflows, and guide corrective actions.
• Validate transactions, interfaces, reconciliations, vendor onboarding, invoice routing, configuration changes, and defect repositories while mentoring analysts and briefing leadership.

Requirements

• BA or BS degree in Accounting, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting financial systems, data analytics, and systems migration.
• Knowledge of federal accounting and FFMIA compliance standards.
• Ability to work onsite 2–3 days per week in Washington, DC.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
