Site Coordinator, Curriculum and Instruction (Education)

Location: Stephenville, Texas; recurring presence required at school sites

Compensation: $500 per student, per semester

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and implement partnership programs between local independent school districts and the university.
• Communicate with teacher candidate instructors and program faculty, and supervise teacher candidates in clinical placements.
• Analyze candidate performance data and cooperating teacher surveys to improve instructional competency.
• Collaborate with school and district administrators to select mentor teachers.
• Conduct monthly cooperating teacher training and facilitate quarterly governance meetings with district stakeholders.
• Participate in teacher candidate recruitment, coordinator training, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Curriculum and Instruction, Education Administration, a core subject area, or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Knowledge of the relevant discipline and demonstrated potential for effective instruction.
• Frequent, recurring presence at school sites is required; work hours are Monday through Friday during school campus hours or as work requirements indicate.
• Applicants with degrees earned outside the United States must provide English translations and an official credential evaluation.
