Experienced M&A Analyst (Consumer)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; in-office role

Base salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and individual performance.

What you will do

• Support client engagements and represent the firm throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
• Work closely with senior bankers, deal teams, clients, and C-suite stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and articulate their business impact.
• Prepare, review, and quality-check accurate work products and deal deliverables.
• Contribute to recruiting initiatives, mentorship programs, and efforts to generate new client engagements.
• Respond quickly to emails and calls while staying aligned on active workstreams and deadlines.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• A Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution is required.
• A cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher is required.
• Working knowledge of Excel, including formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting.
• Understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet connect.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
