What you will do
- Lead financial readiness for COGS and investments related to contract manufacturing operations, including M&A integrations and transitions from R&D.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, strategic plans, and actual-results reporting with accurate analytical insights.
- Assess the financial impact of contractual manufacturing commitments, cost deviations, inventory risks, and excess or obsolete stock.
- Perform month-end close activities covering manufacturing variances, opex, inventory, provisions, yield, pricing, overhead, and capitalization.
- Coordinate submissions in SAP, TM1, and other accounting and reporting systems with central finance teams.
- Oversee standard costing, KPI tracking, internal controls, SOX deliverables, and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with emphasis on financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Knowledge of an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle and financial planning software such as TM1, HFM, or Anaplan.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceuticals is preferred; cost accounting experience is an advantage.
Nice to have
- MBA or CPA in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- Intermediate to advanced SAP knowledge.
- Cost accounting experience.
