Survey Assistant

Location: Primarily based at the Phoenix, Arizona office; fieldwork takes place outdoors, at construction sites, on roadways, and in remote and rugged locations.

Salary: $21.00–$30.50 per hour

What you will do

• Support land surveying activities as part of a survey team.
• Work on construction sites, roadways, and outdoor project locations.
• Assist with site and utility construction operations.
• Carry surveying equipment and perform fieldwork across uneven and steep terrain.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on regional projects.

Requirements

• General knowledge of site and utility construction operations.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours per day.
• Ability to swing an 8 lb. sledgehammer.
• Dependability and ability to work effectively with others.
