CNC Machinist - Second Shift

Location: Lebanon, Ohio, United States; onsite, second shift

Manufactures equipment and systems for the international pulp and paper process industries.

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machine tools for complex machining operations with close tolerances.
• Select and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials.
• Calculate and control machining parameters, including speed, feed, coolant flow, and cut depth and angle.
• Monitor machine operation, identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance results, and adjust controls.
• Maintain and edit CNC programs to improve process performance.
• Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts, and recommend improvements to production methods and equipment performance.

Requirements

• Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC VTL, horizontal mills, vertical mills, and horizontal lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans and use measuring instruments.
• Basic programming, strong mathematical, mechanical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane and maintain machining equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is preferred.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; heavier loads require assistance or lifting equipment.
