AI Risk Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Support end-to-end management of the bank’s AI inventory throughout each use case lifecycle.
• Coordinate risk reviews for internally developed and third-party AI use cases, including intake, escalation, tiering, assessments, and approvals.
• Partner with Information Security, Third-Party Risk Management, Model Risk Management, Compliance, and Operational Risk Management.
• Coordinate AI model validation activities and incorporate outcomes into the AI Risk Management process.
• Oversee internally developed AI solutions through the AI Working Group, ensuring governance controls and responsible AI principles are applied.
• Develop executive reporting and dashboards, define monitoring metrics and thresholds, and identify emerging risks or remediation needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in computer science, information technology, economics, finance, AI, machine learning, data science, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering or governing Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions in financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated industry.
• Advanced understanding of AI technologies, models, and third-party and operational risks in AI systems.
• Knowledge of AI standards and best practices, including the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Strong analytical, communication, project coordination, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
