Pediatric Hospitalist

Location: Tufts Medical Center and urban community hospitals in the greater Boston area, within 60 minutes of Boston

Salary: $180,077–$200,332 annually

Academic pediatric care is delivered through a community hospitalist program focused on clinical care, medical education, quality improvement, research, and equitable access.

What you will do

• Provide pediatric hospital medicine across inpatient units and community-based clinical settings.
• Cover newborn nursery care, emergency department consultations, delivery attendance, and level 2A/2B special care nurseries as needed.
• Teach medical students, residents, and physician assistant students.
• Participate in evidence-based medicine, quality improvement, research, and academic initiatives.
• Support the development of comprehensive pediatric care across Eastern Massachusetts communities.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics.
• Commitment to teaching and medical education.
• Interest in community-based pediatric care with professional autonomy and strong clinical support.
