Location: Limerick, Ireland; conditions also list Cork, Ireland. The role involves hands-on laboratory, semiconductor testing, and manufacturing activities.

What you will do
- Lead new product development, qualification, and release of power ICs to mass production.
- Create reliability, die sort, final test, characterization, and bench test plans, including test hardware design.
- Coordinate product release schedules, engineering wafer starts, build requests, and release documentation.
- Debug and bring up new silicon with design, applications, packaging, and test engineering teams; identify root causes of failures and specification nonconformities.
- Manage ATE-to-bench correlation, electrical and thermal characterization, reliability analysis, yield monitoring, and yield improvement plans.
- Support engineering samples, mass-production handover, and finalization of datasheet electrical parameters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI IC product engineering.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor packaging, device physics, analog and digital circuit theory, wafer fabrication, assembly flows, wafer sort, final test, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
- Experience with ETS364/88/800 Eagle Tester, ASL1K, or similar open-architecture test platforms.
- Experience with bench setup, semiconductor characterization, laboratory equipment, and statistical analysis methods.
- Knowledge of I2C, PMBUS, SPI, Python, and LabVIEW for laboratory automation.

- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with MOSFETs, multiphase systems, or digital controllers.
