Senior Financial Systems Accountant (PeopleSoft FACTS): Supporting federal financial accounting systems for an Intelligence Community client with an accent on General Ledger, Asset Management, reconciliation, posting logic, and financial reporting. Focus on building custom queries, analyzing entry events and EERT/PART transactions, resolving complex reconciliation issues, and documenting corrective actions for government review.
Location: Washington, DC; 100% on-site
Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do
- Build and execute custom FACTS queries across General Ledger and Asset Management to analyze transactions, account relationships, posting results, and financial data.
- Analyze entry events and review EERT/PART entries for posting accuracy, classification, completeness, and compliance with business rules and USSGL requirements.
- Research and document reconciliation differences, unsupported or abnormal balances, interface issues, and sub-module-to-GL relationship problems.
- Analyze asset accounting transactions involving PP&E, IUS, leases, depreciation and amortization, CIP, and asset-related financial reporting.
- Support GLKK reconciliations, Tie Point outage analysis, Trial Balance comparisons, and root-cause analysis.
- Document accounting impacts, audit trail information, posting logic issues, corrective actions, system changes, testing events, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with CI Poly clearance is required.
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience with FACTS (PeopleSoft) Federal financial programs, including FACTS General Ledger and Asset Management.
- At least five years of experience with Federal Financial Accounting and the United States Standard General Ledger.
- Ability to work 100% on-site in Washington, DC.
Nice to have
- CPA credential.
- Expertise in custom queries, entry events, Tie Point analysis, posting logic, and reconciliations.
- Experience supporting Intelligence Community customers.
