TL;DR
Senior Consultant - ABAP (SAP): Developing and optimizing SAP ABAP applications for complex business requirements with an accent on S/4HANA, HANA-native development, integrations, and Fiori enablement. Focus on building CDS views, AMDP procedures, RAP services, OData interfaces, and applying performance tuning and clean core principles.

What you will do
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP ABAP applications.
- Create development, testing, and implementation plans with accurate estimates.
- Build enhancements, output forms, integrations, and interfaces for SAP systems.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and collaborate with stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams.
- Mentor and coach junior developers while managing multiple deliverables and projects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant SAP ABAP development experience and a degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong ABAP knowledge, including ABAP 7.5 syntax, object-oriented programming, RIWCEF components, and enhancement techniques.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, ALV with IDA, and clean core development.
- Experience developing Fiori applications with CDS UI annotations and Fiori Elements, as well as RAP.
- Experience with OData v2, SAP Gateway, IDOCs, Proxies, Adobe Forms, and Smart Forms; familiarity with OData v4.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, performance-tuning, and independent working skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Output Management in S/4HANA and BRF+.
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow, Fiori/UI5, and Core Data Services views.
