Training Facilitators

Location: On-site in Springfield, Champaign, Collinsville, or Quincy, Illinois, United States. Illinois residency is preferred; candidates in neighboring states may be considered. Candidates must be willing and able to travel by car within Illinois.

What you will do

• Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor-led training using established curricula.
• Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions, system walkthroughs, and hands-on exercises for diverse audiences.
• Prepare for delivery by becoming proficient in client technologies and existing facilitator guides, participant guides, exercises, and job aids.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, team leads, and client stakeholders on schedules, demonstrations, and delivery approaches.
• Provide learner and client feedback, make minor updates to training materials, and support recorded sessions, short videos, and technology-enabled learning assets.
• Act as a backup Training Lead when required, supporting facilitation coordination and client communication.

Requirements

• Experience facilitating in-person technology training or comparable adult-learning classroom training.
• Experience facilitating SAP or similar enterprise-systems training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of adult-learning principles, communication, time management, prioritization, and structured training delivery.
• Ability to learn and troubleshoot system or technical issues with guidance and lightly modify training materials.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting instructional design models, principles, strategies, and techniques.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall projects.
• Experience delivering or supporting content in a Learning Management System.
• Experience using a Content Management System.
