TL;DR
Backend Engineer III (AEM/Java): Building and maintaining stable, scalable Java-based Adobe Experience Manager solutions across enterprise web platforms with an accent on AEM services, integrations, content models, and Cloud Service deployments. Focus on developing Sling Models, OSGi services, workflows, REST and GraphQL integrations, Dispatcher configurations, and production troubleshooting.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services using Java.
- Build RESTful API and GraphQL integrations with third-party enterprise systems.
- Implement content models, data layers, and headless content delivery for SPA integrations.
- Support AEM as a Cloud Service deployments, Cloud Manager pipelines, Dispatcher configurations, caching, and replication.
- Troubleshoot rendering, integration, performance, migration, and deployment issues.
- Participate in code reviews, refactoring, sprint planning, documentation, and cross-functional technical decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on AEM backend development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, Sling Models, HTL, and Adobe Granite APIs.
- Experience with AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Editable Templates, workflows, launchers, and custom process steps.
- Strong knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, including caching and filter rules, plus AEM as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager pipelines.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, CI/CD, Maven-based AEM projects, JUnit, and AEM Mocks.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services, headless AEM, and React or Angular integrations.
- Exposure to Adobe Marketing Cloud tools, AEM Forms, LDAP, or SSO integrations.
- Familiarity with Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, performance profiling tools, Agile/Scrum delivery, or client-facing discovery.
- Adobe certifications related to AEM Sites or AEM Assets.
