hirify.global’s College of Agriculture and Montana Agricultural Experiment Station provide instruction, research, and outreach across plant sciences, agriculture, and natural resources.

What you will do

• Teach plant sciences and plant pathology courses on campus or online.
• Advise, evaluate, and assist students.
• Participate in weekly faculty meetings.
• Collaborate with and evaluate an assigned peer leader.
• Contribute to curriculum and course development when needed.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., and/or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
• Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to develop classroom rapport and work effectively with a wide range of students.
• Ability to use engaging pedagogy, work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing environments.
• This position is not eligible for new sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior teaching experience related to the position.
• Experience teaching interdisciplinary courses.
• Knowledge of college student development.
