QA Automation Manager (AI)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global headquarters in San Diego, California, United States

Salary: $110,000–$135,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus targets of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Own the QA strategy, operating model, roadmap, quality metrics, and delivery outcomes across manual and automated testing.
• Lead end-to-end testing for web, mobile, API, functional, regression, sanity, and performance scenarios.
• Drive AI-assisted test generation, automation conversion, resilient and self-healing automation, and AI-driven test data creation.
• Partner with Engineering, DevOps, Product, and business stakeholders to embed quality gates and release standards into CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee defect management, root-cause analysis, quality dashboards, audits, and preventative quality improvements.
• Lead, develop, and scale QA leadership and teams while presenting quality risks and recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including team management.
• 1+ years of experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, test data, and quality analysis platforms such as SeaLights or SonarQube.
• Demonstrated experience applying AI and GenAI to Quality Engineering, including test generation, test data creation, and manual-to-automated test conversion.
• Experience with resilient automation patterns, LLMOps-style evaluation and monitoring, security and vulnerability testing, and AI application risks such as prompt injection and sensitive data leakage.
• Understanding of AI risk management and governance frameworks, including NIST AI RMF.
