Environmental Solutions Field Technician (Stockton, CA)

Location: Onsite at 7850 R A Bridgeford St, Stockton, CA 95206
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, approximately 7:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $19.40–$26.67 per hour, depending on the hiring locality.

What you will do

• Perform hazardous and non-hazardous spill cleanup, emergency response, and hazmat decontamination.
• Clean tanks, handle drums, sweep and shovel, pressure-wash, and perform other remedial activities.
• Work in confined spaces, including manholes, when required.
• Set up and operate pumps, trailer-mounted generators, air compressors, light towers, pallet jacks, skid steers, and related equipment.
• Maintain equipment and work sites through general housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and regulations while responding to customer emergencies during and outside normal business hours.

Requirements

• Experience working with light and heavy equipment and responding to hazardous or non-hazardous emergencies or cleanup situations.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training after hire.
• Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and understand operational, technical, process, safety, and quality instructions.
• Knowledge of chemicals and safety data sheets, with the ability to follow steps to mitigate hazards.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Nice to have

• Current confined-space entry certificate or ability to obtain one after hire.
• Experience using hand tools, shop tools, instruments, tablets, or PCs.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, mental resilience, and willingness to report unsafe practices.
