TL;DR
Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Laravel, Vue 3): Building and supporting event-sourced financial services, APIs, and web applications with an accent on data consistency, security, scalability, and payment integrations. What you will do
- Architect, implement, and support PHP/Laravel backend services using event-sourced and event-driven patterns.
- Build and enhance websites and software in collaboration with product and design.
- Develop features with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Vue 3, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
- Build and consume REST and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with payment platforms such as Stripe.
- Write automated unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Improve application usability, scalability, performance, and maintainability while mentoring web engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering industry experience.
- Advanced experience with PHP MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous queue-based processing, event sourcing, and related libraries.
- Experience with Vue 3, Nuxt, TypeScript, Tailwind, and modern frontend development.
- Advanced experience with relational or non-relational databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with object-oriented design patterns, automated testing, REST and GraphQL APIs, and payment processing integrations.
Nice to have
- Experience with JavaScript build tools such as Vite.
- Ability to create and maintain frontend component libraries.
- Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices.
