Maintenance Technician I (Industrial Maintenance)

Location: Braselton, Georgia, USA; the role is based at a distribution center and requires in-person equipment maintenance.

What you will do

• Operate automated battery changers for order pickers, reach lifts, electric pallet jacks, pacers, clamp lifts, and forklifts.
• Check battery water levels, place batteries on charge, inspect batteries visually, and report required repairs.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and other material handling equipment.
• Document daily maintenance activities and assist with planning and coordinating equipment repairs.
• Follow OSHA regulations, hirify.global safety rules, housekeeping standards, and C-TPAT requirements.
• Support maintenance leadership and distribution center operations as assigned.

Requirements

• Must pass equipment and safety certification requirements.
• Experience using routine industrial hand tools and basic electrical knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, use RF scanning equipment, bend, twist, and remain on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and willingness to work collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work overtime and comply with peak-period blackout periods.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record; 0–2 years of maintenance experience.
