TL;DR
SMD Production Technician (Manufacturing): Producing complex, low-yield SMD products and prototypes while verifying machine setups and performing quality checks with an accent on process capability studies, equipment operation, and engineering support. Focus on fabricating special products, following equipment specifications and product drawings, and participating in continuous improvement activities.
Location: Columbus, Nebraska, United States; onsite, 1st shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. Overtime may be available as needed. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR/EAR requirements.

What you will do
- Assist with machine setups and verify equipment settings on production lines.
- Produce complex, low-yield products and special products that cannot be manufactured on main product lines.
- Perform daily quality checks using engineering-provided golden samples.
- Operate production equipment as needed and support manufacturing functions beyond standard operator responsibilities.
- Assist Engineering with equipment specifications, product drawings, process evaluations, and capability studies.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a technical field or at least four years of related experience.
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable ITAR/EAR regulations.
- Ability to perform machine setup verification, equipment operation, quality checks, and manufacturing activities.
