What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of technical writers through feedback, performance management, and career support.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, usable documentation aligned with customer and business needs.
- Partner with documentation project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and support delivery outcomes.
- Influence documentation quality and user experience across products and the customer journey.
- Identify efficiency opportunities and drive continuous improvement within the team and organization.
- Promote effective use of documentation tools and AI-assisted solutions.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience leading and developing teams, including performance management and coaching.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
- Experience working with technical subject matter.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field.
- Experience developing individuals and building high-performing teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strategic, systems-level, and business-oriented thinking with a focus on customer value.
- Degree in English, Technical Communication, or a writing-intensive or technical discipline; familiarity with AI-assisted writing tools.
